While on one of my many trips to Florida during a shopping spree, I discovered a weird looking coffee item that was called a pour over carafe. That was my introduction to pour over coffee! I bought the carafe for my son because I knew he would love it and he has been using the same carafe and making pour over coffee every day ever since that day I found it over 10 years ago! He loves it.
I've been on some pretty long day hikes along trails and up mountains. One of the first things I did before hiking was to find a super light weight backpack I could put some basic day hiking stuff in that wasn't going to cost a mint. I found this daypack or slackpack on amazon 6 years ago and have hiked thousands of miles with it in Arizona, Michigan, Camelback mountain, and national forests. It's been on many trips with me shoved underseats on airports and thrown into back seats or nestled at my feat. It is my go to bag because of how light weight it is, easy to store and clean. I love it.
