Hi! I'm Deborah and I am a long-distance hiker who refuses to camp!

​I’m taking on 1,100+ miles of the North Country Trail across Michigan — with a twist: I don’t camp.

I’ve already tackled 600+ miles of the NCT in Lower Michigan, and I’m now working my way through 500+ miles in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Instead of pitching a tent, I’ve figured out how to make multi-day trail adventures work with hotels, lodging, transportation, food stops, and a little creative logistics.

Because sometimes you want the adventure of a long-distance hike and a real bed at the end of the day. 😉
